What To Expect

Explore three of Maui’s iconic snorkeling locations, including Molokini Crater. This trip is perfect for those thrill-seeking individuals looking for a fun-filled experience. Based on conditions, locations may include Molokini Backwall, La Perouse Bay, Coral Gardens and Turtle Town.

In 1977, after a long and turbulent history, Molokini Crater, the islet of Molokini, and the 77 acres surrounding it (including all underwater terrain) were declared a Marine Life Conservation District, thus protecting it for future generations. Molokini is home to many bird species and is a recognized bird sanctuary as well as home to many migrating humpback whales.

Expect to see many diverse fish and coral species while snorkeling at this famous Maui site.

This activity operates from April 16 – December 14. Check out Koa Kai's Molokini Snorkel & Whale Watch trip from December 15 – April 15.
