Smoky Mtn Cades Cove-Little River Museum-Foothills Pky Photo Tour

This tour leaves every Tuesday from Country Tonite Theater and has a rolling Smart Phone Photo Workshop incorporated into the tour. History and photo ops abound in Cades Cove, in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. While driving up to Cades Cove, a rolling Smart Phone Photo workshop is given, and as the van makes many photo stops, your instructor will give one on one assistance to you for excellent photo results. The History and Humor of the area and the folklore associated with it, is brought to life while the tour travels the eleven-mile loop. After lunch along the banks of the little River, the tour stops at The Little River RR and Lumber Museum for more photo ops and history. For the best photos of the Smokies, there is nothing better than the lookouts along The Foothills Parkway, before returning to Pigeon Forge via Wears Valley.

What To Expect

Cades Cove

After getting a rolling workshop for Smartphone Photography, travelers will be treated to some of the most beautiful views of The Smokies and the wildlife that abounds in The Cades Cove Loop. The tour stops at many cabins, churches and an old working grist mill. History and humor intertwine throughout the narration which includes the folklore and facts about the residents of Cades Cove.

Townsend

Townsend is the gateway to The Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The town is located along the Little River and the tour stops for some of the best barbeque in the area. The barbeque tastes even better on when as there is a $10 OFF voucher for each person on the tour.

Foothills Parkway

Started in 1939, and still not completed, The Foothills Parkway offers some of the most majestic views of The Smokies. The tour travels along the newest section of the parkway and stops at several of the lookouts offering the best photo opportunities in the area. The return trip to Pigeon Forge is through picturesque Wears Valley.

As Cades Cove is located in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the natural beauty of the area abounds and lends itself to some of the most beautiful photo ops for you to practice what you learned in the Smart Phone Workshop. The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum

The Little River Lumber and Railroad Museum offers a rich and immersive experience, showcasing the history of the logging and railroad industries that were instrumental in shaping the Great Smoky Mountains region. Through its extensive exhibits, interactive displays, and educational programs, the museum provides valuable insights into the heritage and development of Townsend and its surrounding areas.
